Their backings are an ultra-soft composite of non-woven eco-friendly EnvrioCel™. The entire product is 100% recyclable. NewGrass® is proud to be an ally in the EPA’s GreensScape Program and the only artificial lawn that is Certified 100% Eco-Friendly, from the way it is manufactured to the company’s pledge to properly recycle any NewGrass® lawn at the end of its usable life.

NewGrass Premium Rye - $5.99/sq ft

Our Premium Rye is among the finest synthetic grass made. It is thick and strong, but also supple and incredibly natural feeling. Its 100% polyethylene blades are duo-woven. The main blades are bolstered and separated slightly by blades that have been curled to mimic natural grass thatching. Our Premium Rye lawns weigh in at a hefty 69 ounces per square yard.

NewGrass Rye - $4.99/sq ft

Our Rye lawns are duo-filament: Their primary blades are supported and enhanced by shorter, denser blades that act like thatching in natural grass. They weigh 54 ounces per square yard.

Color Blends: You Have a Choice; Our GreenAware Rye varieties are available in two natural-looking color blends: solid green and duo-green.

NewGrass Fescue - $3.99/sq ft

The polyethylene blades of our quality monofilament Fescue weigh in at 46 ounces per square yard. Like our Standard Premium Rye and Rye lawns, NewGrass Fescue is also available in two color blends: solid green and duo-green.

NewGrass Sport - $3.79/ sq ft

The polyethylene blades of our quality monofilament Sport weigh in at 42 ounces per square yard. It’s the perfect lawn for athletic fields and similar uses.

EnviroCel™ is made from a derivative of domestically grown soybeans and also incorporates post-consumer recycled plastic from soft drink and water bottles. This backing replaces about 90% of the petroleum compounds found in earlier generations of backing.

Installed, the NewGrass® backing offers greatly improved drainage. This results in longer life for the backing, as well as for the grass blades and any infill. It also means faster and more consistent drainage, which is better for the aggregate base underneath a NewGrass® installation, as well as for the surrounding landscaping.

Warranty

NewGrass^® comes with a manufacturer-issued warranty that covers fading and damage that results from normal wear and tear for a full ten years.
